The sight of the young woman in a wedding dress standing on a rail bridge I cross almost every day immediately revealed a story to me: why was she there on that bridge, at that moment in time, wearing clothing that strongly suggests she should be somewhere else important? The story that emerged in my mind after taking the picture never left me and eventually found its way into a narrative short film based on the photograph, The Sacred Covenant, and, subsequently, this complimentary work. I am particularly moved by stories that reveal our profound struggles with embracing our covenants with the divine.
