Harris Matthews

Harris’ interest in acting came about by chance after he saw an advertisement for a drama course in the Metro newspaper. The acting bug grabbed him and he went on to study at the Birmingham School of Acting, Birmingham Theatre School and Mac Arts.

He has appeared in a number of shows with the Birmingham Theatre School, including Confusions (2011), The Trial (2011), and 12 Angry Jurors (2011). Following on from that, Harris toured with the Crescent Theatre’s outdoor production of Pride and Prejudice (2012) in which he played the iconic role of Mr. Darcy.

Alongside his work in theatre, Harris has also acted in a variety of short films: including Bad Call (2012), They Are The Quarry (2012) and Metanoia (2012).

In The Rabbit, Harris stars opposite Toni Sherwood-Pearce as Peter.
